The moral of this post is that saying goodbye is not permanent but it is an opportunity to say hello to new experiences and I wanted to thank everyone who has been part of my life for the past four years because without you guys I don't know where I would be xx

Saying goodbye ðŸ˜
Saying goodbye is always hard and it's worst when family really step up and look after you for awhile. But really saying goodbye is hard because in some way you understand that you may or may not see these people ever again. And deep down you hope this is not the case. With the looming leaving date approaching saying goodbye is getting harder from the debs on Monday and saying goodbye to the girls I have spent the last four years with and them asking you not to go to family inviting you around for dinner. It seems like the little things really mean the most and not getting to see these amazing people for awhile is going to be hard, I know that I can fly back but the idea of not seeing these people is extremely hard because they are going to experience everything that college throws at them and I do wish I could be there with them but I'm also grateful for the opportunity to travel to a new country and live there and see everything that comes my way.

a little bit about me...
Hi my names Sarah, but you probably guessed that from the title of the blog. Anyway this post is just about me so here goes.
I'm Irish and taking a gap year before I decide what to do with the rest of my life.(ahhh scary) So I'm spending my gap year in Spain and I am hoping to document the year through this blog.
WHY SPAIN? Well my family is moving there and I thought it would be a great way to find out a little bit more about myself and experience the world before I go to college. Plus Spain has always been somewhere I wanted to live.
WHEN DO YOU LEAVE? In just under two weeks my family and I embark on this world wind journey of moving to a different country. And honestly it's exciting but nerve-racking.
I hope to post weekly about little adventures I take and my experience of living in a new country for the year and who knows maybe it will be longer than a year. Hopefully you will join me on this experience.
Sarah. :)
